Senior Email and Digital Marketing Specialist

Come join Alfred Music as Senior Email and Digital Marketing Specialist to define and execute email marketing, analytics, marketing automation, website, and CRM strategies. The Specialist serves as expert in various technical areas of marketing including responsive email/web design, web forms, data management, CRM integrations, A/B testing, automation, and technology/systems. The ideal candidate must approach work with a business development mindset in order to continuously improve and expand Alfred Music’s digital marketing capabilities.

As Senior Email and Digital Marketing Specialist, You Will:

  • Oversee and execute email marketing campaigns in accordance with best practices and latest trends
  • Build personalized and automated email programs, including welcome series, behavioral campaigns, automated product emails, and automated event invitations
  • Conduct A/B tests, shares results with team members, and optimizes future emails based on test results
  • Oversee IBM Marketing Cloud platform, seeking to maximize Alfred’s investment in the platform through evaluating new opportunities and expanding usage into untapped areas of digital marketing
  • Prepare and present monthly email and web analytics reports to marketing team
  • Implement campaign tracking mechanisms, such as UTM codes, custom events, and goals, in order to accurately track the impact of digital campaigns on website visits, user engagement, and conversions
  • Administrate web content management platform
  • Create new landing pages, product lists, and widget templates for marketing team using a combination of configurable tools/widgets and HTML/CSS
  • Design and create web forms and integrates them with CRM system

To Be Successful In This Position, You Possess:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years experience executing email marketing and marketing automation campaigns and leveraging enterprise-level marketing technologies
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, responsive email/web design, A/B testing and optimization, marketing data management, and content marketing
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Highly motivated and proactive
  • Strong analytical skills

Other Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce.com and IBM Marketing Cloud administration
  • Experience implementing e-commerce email campaigns, such as shopping cart abandonment and personalized product recommendations
  • Basic knowledge of music fundamentals
